Quick RunDown:
Day 1: Batu Caves
From Batu Caves, we rode the train to KL Sentral (2.40 MYR). KL Sentral is the main hub of all railway system in KL. From there, you can get to almost anywhere in Kuala Lumpur because it serves many railway lines.
In KL Sentral, nagutom na naman kami. Since many passengers come here daily, marami ring fast food chains inside the hub. Dahil avid fan kami ng KFC, we tried KFC- Malaysian styleeeee. 2 meals costed us 21 MYR.
thumbs up! |
PUTRAJAYA/CYBERJAYA:
To get there:
From KL Sentral, choose the KLIA Transit system. KLIA Transit is a rail service linking Kuala Lumpur and KL International Airport (KLIA) as well as three other stops in between including Putrajaya/Cyberjaya.

One ride was 9.50 MYR. Mas mahal dahil mas mabilis ang ride at mas maganda ang train.
After a few minutes, we're in Putrajaya/Cyberjaya station. Down the station, we hired a taxi for 39 MYR to tour us around the area for an hour.
Meet our cool taxi tour guide/driver who doesn't speak English! Thank you friend for trying! Hug! |
My little research told me that Putrajaya is the federal administrative capital of Malaysia. Cyberjaya, its sister city was built to attract the information technology industry.
What was so remarkable about this place was it is an industrialized city with too much green in it. I call this place civilization and environment preservation rolled into one. The place is even called the "Intelligent Garden City."
Next stop was Putrajaya Water Sports Complex.
The driver dropped us to Putrajaya City Council.
The Pink Mosque was next. Non-Muslims cannot enter during prayer times.
Near it was the Prime Minister's residence called Seri Perdana.
We then passed by Seri Wawasan Bridge.
Our one hour was up so the driver brought us back to the train station. We ended the day with this trip and looked forward for day 2.
Day 2 was planned for Genting Highlands adventure and a visit to the sparkling Petronas Towers.
