Day 2: Petronas Towers

May 5, 2011: KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

Quick RunDown:

The Genting Bus dropped us back to KL Sentral and from there we took the train to KLCC station for 3.20 MYR each.

I knew from my basic research that we have to look for KLCC Suria Mall to get a good view of the towers. The mall was easy to look for but where to have a good spot to view the famous skyscrapers were quite confusing for us. We grabbed our dinner first from House of Bento inside the mall.

even shopping is just a sightseeing dahil walang budget at walang time
paying for our cheap dinner

Dahil may energy na ulit, finally, nakita na rin namin ang Petronas Towers.

I have read from forums and other travel blogs that there is a tour of the skybridge connecting the twin towers but we both refused to take that tour. Okay na sa amin ang masilayan ang exterior beauty ng Petronas towers.

Petronas Towers, based from my little research is 452 metres tall. Two brilliant Filipinos along with other architects designed the building. It houses different companies' offices. The instant I saw it, napa-wow talaga ako. Sparkling ang description ko even though  I know that word is not enough to suffice it.

Dahil hindi naman talaga kami photographers, we found it hard to get an excellent picture. Kailangan ata dadapa ka para makakuha ng perfect shot. Here's to our attempt for a perfect twin tower shot.

Am i caught in the middle?

After a few more photo op, we finally decided to go home.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has taught me that harmony can be achieved between old and new, civilization can be pursued without disrupting nature and people practicing different religions can exist peacefully with too much respect and without discrimination.

 KL, Malaysia is truly Asia.

Join me as we said "Sawasdee" to Bangkok,Thailand the next day.
